Tobi Wieland (Berlin), Anamnese (Barcelona), Mistress Sade (Auckland), Laura Stanszus (Berlin), Angela Lamprianidou (Berlin), Flexquisit (Berlin), Eix (Berlin)

Playing Times: Friday 11:00 – 21:00 / Saturday 11:00 – 21:00

Location: Tankraum (Kachelhaus, basement)

A space for sound, discourse, liquid and impact play

What does thinking need from the body to come alive? What might the body know that thought alone cannot reach — and what emerges when thinking begins to follow its lead?

The Think Tank gathers the conceptual, sensorial, and erotic dimensions of kink under the festival’s motifs of ‘when the time is right’ and ‘be water, my friend’. It invites participants into a space of embodied thinking, where theory unfolds in fragments, sound moves through bodies and water, and attention shifts between intensity and drift. Sound art, liquid and impact play, and spaces for free play create an environment in which thought is not separate from sensation, but emerges through it.

The space will follow a fluid, site-responsive logic. Impact-play stations and sound-art interventions will offer points of departure and landing; intellectual inputs such as ‘Disgust and Befriending the Body?’, ‘The Gaze into the Abject’, and ‘Psychodynamics of SM and DS’ provide focused philosophical reflection; water sport sessions like ‘The Human Sculpture’ and ‘Honor My Waters’ open further registers of bodily experimentation. A memorial white noise meditation for Phonoschrank, our deceased friend and sound artist, will hold a quieter tide of remembrance. Free play will run throughout, arriving and receding according to the group’s tempo, to culminate in a communal Rave of the Whips.

Tobi Wieland is an academic philosopher working at the intersection of contemporary critical theory, feminist thought, and the (un)doing of gender and sexuality. His teaching moves across academic and non-academic, sex-positive contexts, where theory meets lived and embodied practice. In his artistic research, he explores the somatic and performative dimensions of thinking, approaching intellect as something that unfolds through bodies, gestures, and relations. Tobi hosts the theory department at IKSK.

Anamnese has an academic background in theoretical philosophy. She has devoted much of her efforts in philosophies of love, sex and emotions both in academic education as well as in sexpositive culture.

Laura Stanszus has spent two decades researching what people need to live the way they want to — but can’t quite manage. As a scientist, coach, and doula. Her favorite playground: sexuality as an expression of creative life force — where intensity, for her, is something to also cultivate inward rather than outward only.

Sadie (Mistress Sade) is a Professional Dominatrix from New Zealand. She has oriented her practice about the destruction of shame and reclamation of slutdom and the sacred whore. A sadist by nature, Sadie is a brutal seductress in the dungeon, dancing between archetypes and modalities of pain, pleasure, and degradation. Having trained in a range of facilities across Europe, including Mistress Malissia’s Dominatrix Academy in 2024, Sadie’s craft is multi-disciplinary; infusing a potent blend of tantra, femdom and traditional BDSM. Sadie is passionate about ethical femdom and shadow play as a tool to liberate the patriarchal eco-system responsible for the cultivation of shame. In Berlin for 3 months of advanced BDSM training, Sadie is ambitiously absorbing wisDomme from Europe’s practitioners to inspire and innovate New Zealand’s BDSM landscape.

Flexquisit

Berlin sound artist & ghostproducer since 2013. Emerging from the land of endless flowing sounds, he crafts music across all genres – channelled into pure, fluid electronic energy.

Eix is a Berlin-based electronic performer and producer whose practice centers on analog-driven, danceable trance and embodied improvisation. Their sets and live performances prioritize physical immersion — long, hypnotic grooves that encourage collective movement and somatic depth — while drawing on modular synthesis, tape textures, and improvised structuring rather than strictly digital sequencing.
